We offer full service training of Standardbreds. From jogging to racing, Ruddick Stables is the place to
send your horse for the extra attention your horse needs. Our horses are like members of the family.
From fairs to Grand Circuit events, we have raced in races like: The Little Brown Jug, Breeders Crown,
Bluegrass Stake, Jugette, Standardbred Stake, Review Stake, World Trotting Derby, Hayes Memorial, Arden

Ruddick Stables offers an array of boarding options for your horses. We have paddocks in many sizes to
allow individual turn-out or socialization with others. Horses can be out 24/7 (with run-in access) or
brought in as desired. We also have stalls available for lay-ups. Our treadmill and walker allow
rehabilitation & recovery from a variety of ailments. We also welcome broodmares at the farm. In addition
to our online cameras, we use the popular Foal Alert System for foaling mares. Semen can be shipped in
from the stallion of the owner's choice, making this a great scenario for mare owners.

Each year, we prep horses for yearling and mixed sales. Our walker is very helpful in the sales prep
process. Having paid the high costs to other facilities, we know how important it is to provide quality work
at a reasonable price. Horses can be a part of our consignment or sold through a sales agent, which we

| Overview of Services |
| Ruddick Stables is a family run operation. Harold is responsible for most of the daily training at the farm. Once horses are ready to race, Stacey generally takes them on the road. This means the horses are always in the hands of a licensed trainer. Stacey handles most of the sales prep, while Beverly (also a secretary at the local middle school) keeps things running smoothly at the farm. We are always attending continuing education to enhance our services! |
